| Series CLR2000 of Data-Linc Group |
Data-Linc
Group's wireless, license-free CLR2000 is a low cost, short range serial
radio modem. The CLR2000 is an ideal companion to the Data-Linc
Group's signature, high-performance, long range SRM6100. The CLR2000
can make economical short range cluster connections and feed the
data to longer range SRM6100 networks. The CLR2000 has a rated range
of 2 1/2 Km with clear line-of-sight assuming outdoor omni
antennas-farther using higher gain directional antennas.
The CLR2000 employs frequency hopping
spread spectrum (FHSS) technology in the 2.4-2.4835 GHz frequency
band for secure, robust communication. Data-Linc Group’s FHSS
technology enables the CLR2000 to reliably deliver critical
information in high EMI noise environments.
Costly RF site surveys are usually
unnecessary and site licenses are not required. The CLR2000 wireless
technology eliminates the need for hard wire or fiber cable, which
is often expensive and difficult to install.
The CLR2000 can be configured for both
point-to-point and point-to-multipoint applications.
