AlphaSTEP
AS Series
The
AlphaStep is a revolutionary hybrid stepping motor and driver
package which eliminates missed steps, a common problem with
stepping motors. The AlphaStep uses a built-in feedback device
that constantly monitors the motor shaft to detect and correct
for loss of synchronism. Geared and electromagnetic brake models
are available. |

AlphaSTEP
PLUS Series
The
easy to use AlphaStep Plus system couples a closed loop stepping
motor with a combined controller, driver and AC power supply.
Intelligent, integrated and ideal for technology's increasing
demand on motion control, the AlphaStep Plus is computer-programmable
via an RS-232 connection. |

RK
Series The
RK Series offers both the high resolution and smooth motion
of a 5-phase microstepping system with the simplicity of a full
step system. The "Smooth Drive" function achieves smooth motion
without the need for a higher cost pulse generator usually required
for microstepping systems. Geared and electromagnetic brake
models are available. |

PMC
Series
The PMC Series is Oriental Motor's most compact, lightweight
stepping motor series. The 5-phase motor has a compact 1.10
inch (28 mm) square frame and the 24 or 36V DC input driver
is credit-card-sized . Geared models are available. |

2-Phase
Stepping Motor PK & PV Series
The
PK Series of 2-phase stepping motors provides high torque
in a compact size. Frame sizes range from 1.1 to 3.54 in.
sq. with Holding Torque values ranging from 9.2 oz-in. to
106 in-lb. Two basic step angles are available: 1.8°/step
and 0.9°/step. Geared models are available. A driver must
be purchased separately to drive the motor.
Also available
with an optical encoder, the PK Series 2-Phase stepping motor
offers high torque and precise encoder feedback capability.
The high-inertia
PV Series of 2-phase stepping motors produces up to 25% more
torque than other conventional 2-phase stepping motors. With
reduced vibration and noise, and improved positioning accuracy,
the PV Series is suitable for a wide variety of applications. |

SMK
Low-Speed Synchronous Motors
Low-speed synchronous motors provide highly
precise speed regulation, low-speed rotation, and quick bi-directional
rotation. The basic construction of low-speed synchronous motors
is the same as that of stepping motors. Since they can be driven
by an AC power supply, they are sometimes called AC stepping
motors. The motor rotates at a speed proportional to the frequency
of the power supply, 72 rpm at 60Hz (60 rpm at 50Hz). Pinion
shaft models are available that can be connected directly to
standard Oriental Motor GN-type low-noise gearheads, offering
up to 88 lb-in of torque. |
